Provided technical guidance in the design and development of the electronic classroom; a computer lab of networked PC’s using high-speed Internet connectivity to facilitate distance learning for K-12 students. The Internet-based curricula, includes interactive classes in Math, Science, History, Social Studies, Reading and Writing. This community-based effort is offered in partnership with the Seattle Public School District. It is designed to provide an after-school program for youth that supplements and enhances the learning experience through the use of technology. Washington Institute of Applied Technology -- Information Processing Program
Designed and taught the Information Processing Program to participants in need of computer skills and abilities for employment. Many who attended were employed, and in need of computer skills to advance, or maintain their current positions. IBM/PC training included popular business packages for word-processing, spreadsheet, database, and desktop publishing. Participants learned strategies for parlaying what they had learned into opportunities for promotion and advancement at work. Those seeking employment, benefited from career/skills assessment, planning and exposure to classmates working in a variety of occupations and industries.
Pacific First Federal Bank -- Western Data Corporation: Project Manager; Technical Consultant
Contracted to assess the scope of effort required to re-train existing staff for the migration from Honeywell to IBM technology. Conducted interviews with senior management and key systems personnel; reviewed and analyzed existing vendor contracts and service agreements. A thorough analysis of the new technology resulted in recommendations for the design of training programs in audio-visual, live-instruction, and computer-based-training media; strategies for re-training existing staff, and a methodology for developing individual training plans.

International Point-of-Contact for Large-Scale Computer Systems training, education and development. Provided consulting services and technical support for bank employees based in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, South America, Hong Kong, and the USA. Responsibilities included recruitment and selection of computer professionals for management and technical assignment; provided instruction and co-ordinated the delivery of technical training to over 30,000 students worldwide.
